Ed and Rae Schollmaier Arena
The newly renovated Ed and Rae Schollmaier Arena opened December 2015. Schollmaier Arena is home to the men's and women's basketball teams and is also utilized for special speakers and campus events. The facility is named in honor of Ed and Rae Schollmaier in recognition of their generous financial and other support of Texas Christian University. The Schollmaiers have been passionate fans of TCU Horned Frogs basketball for over 50 years. Mr. Schollmaier served as President/CEO of Alcon Laboratories for 25 years. Mrs. Schollmaier was a longtime civic leader.
