About this Event
In 2022, TCU received the Tree Campus Higher Education recognition from the Arbor Day Foundation for the seventh consecutive year!
This year, during the week preceding and on Arbor Day, April 28th, students, faculty, and staff are encouraged to come together to plant 15 trees across campus to celebrate the 150th anniversary of both TCU and the first-ever Arbor Day!
Friday, April 21st at 1 pm
Join us in planting 5 trees near Foster/Shirley/Waits to celebrate Earth Day (April 22nd) and kick off a series of tree-planting events leading up to National Arbor Day. Meet us at Foster Hall near the South entrance.
Wednesday, April 26th at 1 pm
Join us to help plant 2 trees along Pond Drive on the South end of Worth Hills, near the Zeta Tau Alpha and Sigma Kappa houses.
Thursday, April 27th at 1 pm
Join us in planting 6 trees, 2 on the West side of the Tandy building (Neely) and 4 along the South wall of Moudy South! Meet us outside the West entrance of Tandy Hall.
Friday, April 28th at 1 pm
Join us in celebrating National Arbor Day on its 150th anniversary! Concluding a week of tree plantings with a grand finale, help us plant two large trees, one on the East side of Erma Lowe and another on the East side of Sadler, near University Drive.
