Celebrating Hispanic/Latinx Heritage Month
Dr. Zelaya will share his personal story “The Generational Power of Higher Education: From a Street-child to a Ph. D.” to highlight the importance of resilience, responsibility, education, family, and community engagement. The mission is to inspire, empower and engage with the community as we have a conversation about rebuilding trust and surpassing the learning loss associated with the ongoing pandemic. Additionally, the message honors the contributions, sacrifices, and aspirations of the Hispanic community in the United States.
