The annual César Chávez Lecture Series will feature Dr. Larisa Veloz sharing her research and scholarship on the untold stories of women and families crossing borders to work in the fields of the southwest United States. This conversation will highlight the often untold stories about migrant women and children who also worked the fields. Dr. Veloz is a faculty member at the University of Texas at El Paso, where she serves as an Assistant Professor of History.
