“Moving Forward through Activism and Advocacy”

This year’s conference theme recognizes the need for individuals, in and out of the academy, to realize our obligation to advocate as a community for the common good by bringing diverse individuals together to tackle problems by establishing a multiracial, multifaceted, and intergenerational movement for social justice. In addition to a keynote speaker, the conference will have four panels that will concentrate on the following: Liberation through Empowerment, Restorative Justice, Recognizing and Addressing Privilege, and Social Movements.
