To commemorate César Chávez Day, TCU’s 150th Celebration, and Woman’s History Month, the Office of Diversity and Inclusion is delighted to welcome Dolores Huerta to Texas Christian University!
Dolores Huerta is a renowned community organizer, civil rights activist, Presidential Medal of Freedom recipient, and a remarkable icon for the Latinx/Hispanic community. Along with César Chávez, she was instrumental in organizing the United Farm Workers who helped change the living & labor conditions and wages of many migrant and field workers.
Let’s celebrate this phenomenal woman for her impact and everlasting legacy!
