We welcome back Eric Lu, a participant in the 2015 PianoTexas Festival where he already showed his talent that later captivated the world and led to a major career. At just 21, he signed an exclusive contract with Warner Classics, marking the beginning of a remarkable career. Eric has collaborated with prestigious orchestras like the London Symphony, Chicago Symphony, and Los Angeles Philharmonic, and performed on renowned stages including Cologne Philharmonie and Concertgebouw Amsterdam.

Eric's journey to stardom began when he was named a Laureate of the 2015 Chopin International Competition at the age of 17, followed by prestigious awards like the International German Piano Award in 2017 and the Avery Fisher Career Grant in 2021. Notably, Eric was recognized as a BBC New Generation Artist from 2019 to 2022.

A graduate of the Curtis Institute of Music under the tutelage of Robert McDonald and Jonathan Biss, Eric Lu's musical lineage includes mentorship from luminaries like Dang Thai Son, Mitsuko Uchida, and Imogen Cooper. His passion for music continues to inspire audiences worldwide, making him a true luminary in the classical music realm.
