Early in 2023, OpenAI disrupted the lives and work of millions of people worldwide when it released its ChatGPT generative artificial intelligence program. Professors, researchers, writers and artists, to name a few, were alarmed as they saw the kinds of content ChatGPT could create based on the work of others. Join Jonnie Penn, Ph.D., associate professor of AI ethics and society at the University of Cambridge, in a discussion exploring the ethical dimensions of AI. Premier Green Chair presented by TCU's Bob Schieffer College of Communication, College of Fine Arts and John. V. Roach Honors College, this event aims to foster understanding and proactive engagement in shaping the ethical future of AI.
