Four Decades Behind the Scenes in College Athletics - An Evening with Eric Hyman

The world of athletics is changing rapidly today. Former Division 1 Athletics Director, Eric Hyman, spent 50 years in the world of college athletics. He served 28 years as Athletics Director at TCU, Texas A&M, University of South Carolina, Miami of Ohio, and Virginia Military Institute. Who better to discuss college athletics today while giving insight into what it takes to be an athletics director than Hyman.  He was a football player at UNC, a football coach at Furman University, a senior associate athletics director at Furman, NCSU, and Auburn, an athletic director at five D1 colleges and worked in seven conferences. Following retirement, Hyman has served as an athletics consultant. Hyman has build a solid reputation for being an elite leader and a man of integrity. In this program he will discuss the landscape of college athletics today, his experiences as an athletics director and entertain questions.
