In conjunction with “Interpreting Renditions of Nature, Community, and Self”, the 2021 TCU School of Art Faculty Exhibition, The Art Galleries at TCU and TCU MA Art History students Madeline Boehm, Hailey Boutelle, Michelle Contreras, Kathryn Schneider, and Emma Thompson, present “In Conversation With… Self”. Over the course of three sessions, a local art professional will team up with the participating artists in each of the title sections to discuss their work in depth. Structured like a panel discussion, the guest moderators’ invaluable insights into contemporary art will deepen the viewers’ understanding of the works.
“In Conversation With… Self” will continue its three-part series on the Moudy Gallery Facebook page on February 9th with a panel focused on “Self”. In this panel, Moderator Dr. Fran Colpitt and participating artists discuss work from the show examining the Self. Selected art includes work from Amanda Allison and Lynné Bowman Cravens.
