The Art Galleries at TCU proudly present Indian Removal Act III: We are a Wounding by Joe Harjo, a multidisciplinary artist from the Muscogee (Creek) Nation of Oklahoma who currently teaches at the University of Texas at San Antonio. On view from September 5 to November 15, 2025, with a reception Friday, September 5 from 6-8 pm. The exhibition marks the final installment of Harjo’s Indian Removal Acts I-III, an exhibition series that Harjo describes as “delving into the historical and contemporary issues that have profoundly affected Native American communities, our land, our narratives, and our pursuit of prosperous futures.” 

Please note that the Art Galleries at TCU have relocated Fort Worth Contemporary Arts (FWCA). Beginning September 5, 2025, Fort Worth Contemporary Arts is located at 3050 Waits Avenue, Fort Worth, 76109, on the first floor of Molly Reid Hall. Open hours are Wednesday – Saturday 12 – 5pm, and by appointment. Admission is free, everyone is welcome. Free parking is available on the lower levels of the Molly Reid Hall parking garage which is accessible from Greene Avenue or Waits Avenue. Please use the parking spots marked “Retail.” On-street meter parking is also available directly outside the gallery on Waits Avenue.
