Native American sovereignty is an important legal concept with far-reaching implications, but it is also not well-understood by the general public. In this full-day event, various sessions will cover topics including linguistic sovereignty, tribal recognition at the state and federal levels, the Indian Child Welfare Act, and sovereignty as a legal concept.

These events are open to the TCU community and the public.
