Mary Ann Jessee joined the Vanderbilt University School of Nursing in 2003 and has a background in medical surgical and neurosurgical intensive care nursing practice. Her research focuses on how the learning environment and curriculum influence the development of clinical reasoning.
Jessee established the International Consortium for Outcomes of Nursing Education (ICONEd), comprised of educators, practice, industry leaders and accrediting bodies to design and implement a collaborative multi-pronged approach to address nursing's academic practice gap.
This nursing continuing professional development (NCPD) activity provides one (1) contact hour.
Harris College of Nursing & Health Sciences at Texas Christian University is accredited as a provider of NCPD by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.
