TCU HR is pleased to announce Manager Foundations, a manager-specific professional development opportunity.

Manager Foundations is a 6-week series that strengthens the workforce through cohort-based, on-demand manager development. This $250/person training (valued at $499) focuses on: Setting a Foundation, Social Awareness & Relationship Building, Communication & Feedback and Manager & Team Growth. Applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Active full-time employee presently serving in a manager/supervisor role

• Support from direct supervisor and department

• Departmental budget codes for a course fee of $250 – Limited financial support available from HR Training

Participants commit to:

• Completion of online video micro-learning sessions and worksheets

• 6 cohort meetings 

  • Wednesdays, January 25, 2023 – March 1, 2023
    12:00 PM – 2:00 PM

    Tuesdays, March 21, 2023 – April 25, 2023
    8:30 AM – 10:30 AM

• Complete "Manager " application project & reflection (details provided upon selection)

• Engage with “Praxis Partners” small group three times outside of scheduled sessions

• Participate in end-of-program reflection and feedback session
