MLK Day Of Service Hosted by The Eta Psi Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc.

In memoriam of our beloved brother Dr. Martin Luther King Jr, we will be hosting a day of service partnering with Keep FortWorth Beautiful, TCU FSL, and Student Identity & Engagement. This year we will have 3 different sites where students may come volunteer but students will need to RSVP.

Option 1: Cobb Park litter clean-up.
Students will arrive at Cobb Park and participate in ridding the beautiful park of all trash and unsightly items

Option 2: Rolling Hills Tree Farm.
Students will arrive at the tree farm to aid in tree planting, plant care, and other duties that will help upkeep the facility. (30 Volunteers Max)

Option 3: MLK Day Parade.
Students will assist with morning registration, lining up of participants, and will have the opportunity to walk in the parade!

  • Volunteers for the parade will need to be at the site by 8:00 AM and will need to provide their own transportation to and from the site.
  • Busing will be provided for the first 50 to register for Cobb Park and The first 30 to register for Rolling Hills Tree Farm.
  • If you RSVP for a site after its capacity has been reached you will be notified via email.
  • Busing information will be provided as we reach our day of service, confirmation emails will be sent out on the week of the 12th as well.

Thank you all for your willingness to spend your day off serving our community. The Eta Psi Chapter values you.
