PianoTexas Distinguished Artist Recital: Rachel Cheung
By popular demand, PianoTexas brings back Rachel Cheung winner of the Audience Award and finalist at the 15th Van Cliburn International Piano Competition. Come and hear her riveting performance as the Dallas Morning News stated: “a poet, but also a dramatist” and “the most sophisticated and compelling music-making”. Moreover, the selection for concert completely demonstrates these words. Rachel is in the midst of a world-wide whirling season that includes a debut recital in Carnegie Weill Hall, solo and concerto concerts in Mexico, Poland, Switzerland, Italy, England, Hong Kong and the US. Please join us in welcoming Rachel to Fort Worth, the city she considers her second “home”.
