PianoTexas Young Artists Competition

Join us for the important and exciting Concerto Competition. During these sessions, a full concerto will be performed by each contestant and a jury comprising of professionals experienced in the art of concerto performance will select 6 Young Artists to perform with the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra conducted by Maestro Miguel Harth-Bedoya. Concerto performances are the most important doors that open the way for a performing career.

Ryan Sheng - Mozart: Concerto No. 21 in C major, K. 467

Han Yan - Ravel: Concerto in G major

Caroline Owen - Beethoven: Concerto No. 4 in G major, Op. 58

Ji Hyang Gwak - Tchaikovsky: Concerto No. 1 in B-flat minor, Op. 23

The Concerto Competition will continue at 7:00pm for the evening session and Saturday, June 8 for two additional sessions beginning at 3:00pm and 7:00pm.
