Sarah Hill: Author Talk and Signing

Did you know taking the birth control pill would affect the way you think, feel and act? In her new book, TCU professor and evolutionary psychologist Sarah E. Hill casts a new light on the impact of the birth control pill. This is Your Brain on Birth Control: Surprising Science of Women, Hormones, and the Law of Unintended Consequences explores the pill’s cascading effects on women’s lives: it alters the body’s response to stress and even whom you’re attracted to.

NBC 5 First at Four Anchor/Medical and Health Reporter Bianca Castro sits down with Sarah Hill for a Q&A to discuss the book, why her deep dive into decades of research compelled her to write a book and share the information with other women, and the ways the pill is changing the world.

Book signing and reception will follow presentation.

I enjoyed the talk. The location was odd. Seating was really hard and it was difficult to hear even though I sat very close. This particular choice of venue was also not considerate of accessibility for all. I encourage you to think about accessibility for the next event you host. It's very unfortunate that the sound system wasn't set up properly for all to hear.
