Did you know Fort Worth is in the direct path for total darkness of the Solar Eclipse happening on April 8? TCU has prepared 4 viewing stations on campus for students, faculty, and staff to grab a pair of protective eyewear and experience the once-in-a-lifetime event. TCU ID is required to receive a pair of protective eyewear.

  • East Side of Amon G. Carter Stadium
  • Campus Commons (NASA feed playing on big screen)
  • Lawn in Front of King Family Commons
  • Sadler Lawn Facing University

Here are some safety tips for viewing the Solar Eclipse. It is unsafe to view the eclipse through sunglasses, camera lenses, phone screens, binoculars or telescopes. Specially designed solar eclipse glasses are available to students, faculty, and staff for free with your TCU ID. Pick them up in one of the four designated viewing locations.
