Join Dr. Dan Williams for the TCU Faculty Favorite Lecture Series. This discussion will explore witchcraft and witch hunts as historical phenomena.  Using historical and contemporary accounts, this review will briefly examine some of the actual incidents and court cases in Europe and more closely discuss what happened in Salem during its 1692 witch hysteria.  As witchcraft remains more widespread today than ever before, this presentation will conclude with some mention of witchcraft’s popularity and prevalence today.
