Join us for a two day, 11th annual celebration of the horn, as the TCU Horn Studio will feature and host Denise Tryon, Associate Professor of Horn at University of Cincinnati CCM.

Saturday, April 6
10am-12pm - High School Horn Solo Competition*
2pm - DT Routine with Denise Tryon
3pm - Masterclass with Denise Tryon
4:15pm - Honors Horn Ensemble Coaching (HS soloists only)
4:45pm - Mini-Mass Horn Ensemble Coaching (All Saturday participants)

*High School Horn Solo Competition: $25 pre-screen recording due by midnight March 17; T-shirt and all Saturday afternoon events included. Comments & feedback provided upon request. Semi-finalists will be notified by March 20 and invited to compete April 6.

Sunday, April 7
1pm - Participant Showcase*
2pm - Denise Tryon clinic with all Participants
3:15pm - Honors Horn Ensemble sound check
3:25pm - Mini-Mass Horn Ensemble sound check
3:30pm - SuperMASS Horn Ensemble Rehearsal
4pm - Exhibits and Pizza
5pm - HornFest Finale Concert featuring hornist Denise Tryon, the TCU Horn Ensemble, Honors Horn Ensemble, Guest Horn Ensemble, and the HornFest Mini-Mass and SuperMASS Horn Ensembles.

*Participant Showcase is open to any hornist or ensemble who registers and emails Heather Test at h.test@tcu.edu by March 29, 2019. All works must be 5 minutes or less. Performers will be included in the showcase on a first come, first served basis.

Early Bird Registration – $35 (includes t-shirt if registered by March 28)
General Registration – $35 (no t-shirt included after March 28)
