TCU Jazz Festival 2019

The TCU School of Music and Department of Jazz Studies is proud to present the 42nd Annual TCU Jazz Festival, on March 22-23, 2019 on the TCU campus, featuring legendary Jazz drummer, Duffy Jackson.

The Jazz Festival begins Friday evening, March 22, with a concert featuring the TCU Jazz Faculty with special guest artist and legendary jazz drummer, Duffy Jackson, beginning at 7:30 pm in Ed Landreth Auditorium.

On Saturday, March 23, thirty outstanding high school and middle school jazz ensembles will perform for a distinguished panel of adjudicators throughout the day, with the opportunity to interact one-on-one with a member of the TCU Jazz faculty in a clinic setting following their performance. There is no charge to hear the participating high school/middle school ensembles perform during Saturday’s festival event. Mr. Jackson will present a performance clinic at noon for festival participants.

The Jazz Festival will conclude on Saturday evening with an awards concert featuring the TCU Jazz Ensembles with special guest artist and legendary jazz drummer, Duffy Jackson, beginning at 7:30 pm in Ed Landreth Auditorium.

Tickets are available to purchase in advance or at the ticket window for $10 ($5 for Students with TCU ID) prior to the performance. The box office will open at 6:30 pm before each performance.
