TCU Online: Creating Student Video Assignments Using Panopto

Do you want your students to create robust videos for a class assignment? Are you looking for a streamlined process for students to create videos with their own devices and submit them to TCU Online? Panopto allows students to create videos using their computer or mobile device, and then to directly upload videos to an integrated folder in TCU Online. Students can then submit their video for grading through the TCU Online Assignments or Discussions tool.

At the end of this workshop, you will know how to:

  • Download and use the Panopto Mobile App.
  • Create a Panopto Recordings link in TCU Online.
  • Create a Student Submission Folder in Panopto.
  • Access and Import student support material into your course.

*You are encouraged to bring a laptop and a mobile device to the workshop that is connected to the TCU network.

This workshop meets Koehler Center outcomes 1.1, 1.2, and 1.3.
