TCU Online: Making Sense of Course Analytics

TCU Online provides a wealth of course-level data that instructors can use to review student engagement and student performance. This hands-on workshop will show you how to access different data reports for your course. Examining course-level data can help faculty identify student misunderstandings about requirements for presence in the course shell, provide faculty with insights about how students may be engaging with tools in the course shell, and facilitate conversations with students about course grades.

At the end of the workshop, you will be able to:

  • Access Class Engagement, Course Access, and Tool Use Reports for your courses.
  • Use the Class Progress tool to see student activity and potential final grades in your course.

This workshop meets Koehler Center outcomes 1.3, 1.4, 2.1, and 2.2.
