TCU Online: Using Panopto to Create Course Videos

Do you want to create video mini-lectures, tutorials, or reviews for your students? Do you want your students to create robust videos for a class assignment? Whether you are wanting to completely flip your class, or are looking to enhance your teaching with videos, Panopto is a one-stop-shop for recording, editing, organizing, and sharing videos in TCU Online.

In this workshop, you will learn how Panopto's robust video capture tool allows you to record and edit videos, utilize multiple video inputs, publish videos in a variety of formats, and make your content searchable and accessible. Once you have created your videos, you can use Panopto's online interface to store, organize, edit, and publish your videos directly in TCU Online.

By the end of this workshop, you will know how to:

  • Download the Panopto Video Recorder.
  • Create and edit videos.
  • Share videos.
  • Access your video library.
  • Build accessibility features into videos.

This workshop meets Koehler Center Outcomes 1.1, 1.2, and 1.3.
