About this Event
2805 South University Drive, Fort Worth, TX 76109
Please join us for this panel discussion in which three TCU alumnae will talk about their work with animals and what inspires it, how that work has changed over time, and how being a woman informs, enables, and sometimes challenges their work with animals. At 5:00pm we will have a reception with vegan and vegetarian food where attendees can mingle and meet the speakers, and then the panel discussion will begin at 5:30pm.
The speakers will be Pylar Pinkston, Financial Advisor and First Vice President-Investments with Wells Fargo Advisors and founder-director of Furry Friendzy Animal Rescue and Wildlife Rehabilitation; Kylie Knight Rice, NCHA Hall of Fame Rider and co-founder of T/K Cutting Horses; and Nadine Williamson McAdoo, Assistant Manager of Hoffman Ranch LP.
The panel will be moderated by Dr. Carol Thompson, Chair of the Sociology & Anthropology Department.
Sponsored by TCU’s Human-Animal Relationships Program (HARE) and Ranch Management Program.
