Think-a-thon - Strategies to Create an Inclusive Classroom Community

Think-a-thon

Call for Participants–All TCU Faculty and Staff are welcome

Are you a creative thinker or practitioner interested in building a community for all?

Want to share and learn effective strategies for inclusive teaching?

This hackathon-inspired event brings together members of the TCU community for an intense, day-long collaboration to develop strategies to create inclusive classroom communities at TCU. All ideas and voices are welcome.

The outcomes of a Think-a-thon relate to the breadth of experience in the room – and the ability to think openly. We will work together to develop strategies and solutions. We may start in one place, then move to another. We may head off at tangents and down rabbit holes, and then back to where we started from. We will think out loud. We will collaborate to package what was captured during the day into actionable next steps.

To keep energy levels up, lunch and snacks will be provided during the Think-a-thon. We will conclude with a festive drinks reception.
