Today I See a VP That Looks Like Me (TCU STUDENTS ONLY)

This event is a celebration of Kamala Harris and her accomplishments following the historic inauguration of President Biden and Vice President Harris. Though Vice President Harris’ election to the nation’s second-highest office is a “first” in many ways, she said, "While I may be the first, I won’t be the last."

During this event, participants will have the opportunity to reflect on the impact of this significant moment in our nation’s history. In addition, participants will have the opportunity to provide a personal letter, creative art pieces, or tokens of appreciation, as we plan to send all of the items collected to Vice President Kamala Harris.

If you are a poet, singer, spoken word, or visual artist and would like to participate in this event, please contact Timeka Gordon (timeka.gordon@tcu.edu) or Jamartae Jackson (j.j.jackson@tcu.edu).
