Sponsored by the TCU Office of Research and the TCU AddRan College of Liberal Arts, this session brings together an interdisciplinary panel of specialists who work at the intersection of the humanities, social sciences and digital technology. Participants will lead a discussion of the innovative pathways appearing in the liberal arts through the use of new tools and technologies, such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Geographic Information System (GIS), Digital Humanities (DH) and “big data.”  Representing a group of students and scholars who make creative connections between emerging technologies and the humanities and social sciences, this panel demonstrates how the liberal arts are well positioned to address critical questions and propose solutions to problems relating to society and culture.
