Viola Visitors Day 2019

The TCU School of Music invites violists of all ages and levels to the second annual Viola Visitors Day, September 14 from 12:00pm - 7:30pm.

Tentative Schedule of Events

12-12:30pm:  Participant check in
12:30pm:  Welcome and orientation meeting
1-1:50pm:  All participants’ ensemble -“Viola Orchestra”
2-3:00pm:  Solo pieces master class - technique and musicality focus;
                      or individual lessons/consultations/All State excerpts clean-up
3:15-4:30pm:  All-State etudes master class;
                          or individual lessons/consultations/All State excerpts clean-up 
                          (for participants not involved in the All-State master class)
3:15-4:15pm:  Ensemble readings (for participants not involved in the All-State master class)
4:30-5:00pm: Viola Q&A session with TCU Viola Students for all participants
5:30pm: Dinner
6:30-7:30pm: Viola Recital
