Mary D. and F. Howard Walsh Center for Performing Arts

The 56,000 square-foot Mary D. and F. Howard Walsh Center for Performing Arts houses a piano wing that includes teaching studios, practice rooms, an electronic piano laboratory and the 233-seat Hays Theater, named for Trustee Emeritus Spencer Hays '59 and his wife, Marlene. The 325-seat PepsiCo Recital Hall features an unprecedented design and outstanding acoustics. The center is named for the late TCU Trustee F. Howard Walsh, Sr. '33, a Fort Worth oilman, businessman and rancher, and his wife, Fort Worth arts patron Mary D. Fleming Walsh.
