Celebrating Native American Heritage

November’s Native American Heritage Month began as an effort to recognize the significant contributions of the first Americans to the establishment and growth of the United States. The national recognition month began in 1990 under President George H. W. Bush. It has particular significance at TCU, as the campus sits on the ancestral homelands of Wichita and Affiliated Tribes who lived here for generations.
