In the late 1990s, KinderFrogs School was established to serve preschool children (aged 18 months to six years) with Down syndrome. The original facility, Starpoint School, was completed in 1978 to serve elementary students (grade levels 1-6) with learning differences. The two schools share the facility. Both laboratory schools are on-campus training sites for College of Education students preparing to become teachers, as well as settings for educational research.
